⚠ Windows may warn you — that's expected

This app is free and not yet code-signed (certificates cost money we're not spending on a non-commercial project). Because of that, Windows SmartScreen and some antivirus may flag it as from an “unknown publisher.” It's a default caution for unsigned apps, not a sign anything is wrong — and you can verify the download yourself below.

1
If SmartScreen appears (“Windows protected your PC”): click More info → Run anyway.
2
If your antivirus quarantines it: restore the file and allow it. The app reads the Raid process to extract your data, which some scanners flag by default.

🔎 Verify your download

Don't just take our word for it — every release ships with proof it wasn't tampered with:

  • SHA-256 checksumlatest v1.54.0 — the expected hash of your download:
    d548cf52b876b7a5f714d0acb3c988dd3acc21cad9eaec1f898ed72be3ade5fb

Compare it against your file, or grab the checksum file directly:

    Get-FileHash .\RslCompanionAccountDataExtractor-Setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256⬇ Download the .sha256 file
  • Build provenance — a signed attestation ties the binary to the exact public GitHub Actions build. Verify with the GitHub CLI: gh attestation verify RslCompanionAccountDataExtractor-Setup.exe -R rslcompanion/RslCompanionUploader
  • Open source — read exactly what it does on GitHub.

Why does it read the game?

To pull your account data (resources, champions) straight from the running game, the app reads the Raid process's memory read-only — it never writes to the game, injects code, or touches your login. That read-only access is the same behavior scanners associate with game tools, which is why an unsigned build gets extra scrutiny. The source is public so you can confirm it.
